The textured matt is a beautiful card stock made in the Lake District, England. It has more of a watercolour feel to the surface so lends itself very well to watercolour prints, etchings and fine art photography. It can work very nicely for oil and acrylic reproductions as well. It has the same surface on the inside so takes ink very nicely.‘
Greetings Card Printing
Images are printed on 300 gsm / 350 micron textured acid free matt board with ‘a watercolour like feel’, and a subtle texture on both sides. This is described as, Brilliant for artist reproductions – particularly watercolours, etchings, woodcuts and linocuts. Can also be used to stunning effect for fine art photography. Cards are supplied in biodegradable bags with Woburn white laid envelopes which are soft white in colour with a subtle ribbed texture, giving a luxury high quality feel.
This beautiful soft white colour paper has a matt appearance and is soft to the touch, with a delicate natural texture on both sides (created by one of two specially designed rollers) that picks up a high degree of print detail.
All cards and envelopes are Forest Stewardship Counil (FSC) certified, the cards bearing the the FSC logo (see fsc.org for more information).
